How Consent Is Collected

Verbal opt-in (in person or by phone)

At our host stand or during a phone reservation, a team member asks for your mobile number and reads the following disclosure. You consent by verbally agreeing and providing your number:

"Would you like a text when your table is ready? If so, I can take your mobile number. By giving us your number you agree to receive text messages from Margaritaville Myrtle Beach about your waitlist and reservation. Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. We will never share or sell your number. Our SMS terms and privacy policy are posted at our host stand and at sms.exploreatdoor.com."

Each verbal opt-in is recorded in our host/reservation system (DineTime) with the date, time, and the guest’s phone number as proof of consent. The first text a guest receives also includes the program name, opt-out (STOP) and help (HELP) instructions, and a notice that message and data rates may apply.
